Our programming year begins in September with Jack and Jill Day. Since 1948 , under the direction of our first National President, Dorthy Wright, our Mother's and their families get together to celebrate each other and remember the life Carole Robertson; who was killed in the 16th street Baptist Church bombing September 15, 1963. We recognize the life of Carole Robertson, to help the next generation understand the importance of human rights, civil rights, racial harmony.
Throughout the year, Circle City families participate in a variety of events and activities designed to build connect, support long-lasting relationships, foster giving back to the community, impact all children, and honor the importance of the Black Family. Activities include STEM education, cultural awareness, exposure to the arts, leadership development & financial literacy training.
